Ellen Taylor moved to Rhode Island in 2003 and has been with MacFadyen, Gescheidt & O'Brien since 2004. She previously held positions as a legal assistant and paralegal for law firms in San Francisco, Seattle and Providence. She also worked in the music departments of both the University of Washington and the University of Louisville. Ms. Taylor is a former ballet dancer and musician, and has been writing fiction for many years. Her short story The Key appears in the Rhode Island Writers' Circle 2008 Anthology.

Diane Patry has worked for MacFadyen, Gescheidt & O'Brien since its inception. Ms. Patry graduated with honors from the Sawyer School in 1993. She worked as a legal secretary in the Office of the Attorney General and in the law office of Vetter and White. In the mid-1980's Ms. Patry was the Publicity Tours Agent for the U.S. Naval Communication Station in Western Australia. She is currently the Clerk of the Glocester Planning Board, a position she has held since 2000.
